Either they are still evaluating it, you may be being deferred, or it could be a computer glitch. Check again. If you dont see a clear yes or no and you applied ED II, have your GC call.

dowzerw: your D’s stats look very similar to my D’s (she applied RD). Did she also apply for the Women’s Leadership Program?

status still says under review

Jstowers, if you applied EDII, then you need to call them Monday or have your Guidance office call them. If you applied RD, then decisions won’t be out for a while. Good luck!

What is the admissions number (202) 994-6040 goes straight to voicemail

I think with the snowstorm things are very messed up there. There were no classes today, and none tomorrow. And another storm is supposed to hit on Wednesday. I would suggest you try to email admissions, my daughter had pretty good luck getting replys that way within a day or two, might take a little extra time with the snow.

Only essential employees had to report to work the last 2 days so nobody may be in the office to answer the phone or respond to email.

when do accepted ED IIers receive their financial package info like a rough estimate of how much they are going to get

Our school is closed today. No trains are working. I took the last one back to my hometown and I don’t think the school will reopen till tuesday, since President’s Day is coming.Maybe the administrative staff will work Friday.

The school is open Friday. They sent out an email about how the snow storm delayed their mailing of the acceptances and financial aid, they also said they extended their response time to March 15th.

in woot in

Congratulations!

How terrible, it looks like an email was sent to EDII applications that had gotten rejected by mistake.
[Admissions gaffe confuses applicants - News](http://media.www.gwhatchet.com/media/storage/paper332/news/2010/02/16/News/Admissions.Gaffe.Confuses.Applicants-3872370.shtml)

That has to be devastating, especially if you have moved on.

Not the first time GW has made admission mistakes. Two years ago, S got “admitted” message on his status page, but 5 days later got a “waitlisted” letter. It took close to 2 weeks, and alot of work by his guidance counselor, to get it all straightened out & get his admission packet (he applied RD & the adcoms go on vacation after the admission decisions are sent out).

Congrats to those admitted

Is there still a possibility that all the ED II decisions haven’t been sent out yet? My friend applied ED II to GW and still hasn’t heard anything.

The mailed decisions have not yet arrived but your friend should have checked online on the 4th to get her decision. It will be there now.

Unless, of course she received one of the now infamous “mistake” acceptances!

Has anyone received a mailed acceptance yet?
