My daughter applied regular decision and did not send her scores…her GPA is 4.0 and top 10%, but her SAT was a bit low and thought it might work against her. My son is there now going into his senior year and loves it…he started as a Poly Sci major and switched early on to Int’l Business. Any questions feel free to ask! The plus is if my daughter does get in, they offer 1/2 price tuition for siblings!
Does anyone know if GW requires that we send a Mid-Year Grade Report after the first semester?

New to this thread…when do they send out acceptance/denials, and how do they do it, portal or email? TIA 
They will release decisions by April 1st and it will be released through the portal.
Did everyone get any emails/notifications from GW? I haven’t received anything yet. Is this normal?? I didn’t get any information to access my application portal!!
@freshlemon123 I got my portal information a month ago, about a week after I sent in my app, I know they received a large number of applications over winter break, so it may take some additional time to send you your information if you sent it in over winter break.
Also, check your spam folder! it may be there xx

How do decisions come out? Is it a Big Bang or on a rolling basis?
Not sure for regular decision, @starry900, but ED I notifications were released all at once. An email was sent that notified students that decisions were being sent out at 5pm EST on a Friday and all decisions were released that day. I’d imagine that RD is the same.
@starry900 Like most private schools, GW releases all decisions at once. It might be different if you’re in the honors program, but I don’t think so.
When have decisions been released in the past for RD? Early/mid March?
@nsliyromanov it looks like last year some applicants got a likely letter type postcard in mid-March but all applicants heard back late March. So I would guess late March this year.
Has anyone else not gotten any kind of confirmation yet?

@Alkilados Did you apply through the common app? My D submitted her app through the common app and received a “thank you for your application” email which contained her GWID. She then used that ID to access her account information.
@HappyFace2018 I have the email with my GW id but how do I access my account information? Is there a site to login to like a portal or something?
