I am a female coming from a very competitive Catholic school in suburban Pennsylvania. 2190 SAT (780 CR 720 M 690 W) and 32 ACT. 4.1 GPA with a very rigorous course load (lots of AP’s, all honors where AP’s are not offered). I hold a few leadership positions and have really great EC’s, some of which are relatively unique. My essays were strong, especially my Common App, and I applied to GW’s Honors Program. I applied to GW’s Engineering School. I am so excited- best of luck to everyone!
My Daughter received the Likely Letter, more of a Postcard, today. Does anyone know if this means she will receive Merit Aid?

If I did not receive a likely letter does that mean I am not getting in?
@zmoskowitz if it was sent snail mail, people will receive it on different days. I live in Texas so it is likely if I am to get one, it will be after someone who lives in the northeast.

received Likely Letter (postcard) today, NYS, downstate just outside NYC, I know of 2 other students in my daughter s class that also received it today.

Congratulations to everyone who got a likely letter! I live in California so I doubt I’ll get one for a while if I get one at all. It seems like most people who have been getting them are living on the East Coast.

@Hero45 Since you’re in Florida, I wouldn’t expect a likely letter for another day or two. It’s entirely possible you will get one, though!

Just because you didn’t get a likely letter doesn’t mean you won’t get in!!! Good luck everyone
