Hey guys-in case i have no financial award on the portal in the Banner Secured Area does that mean i’ve been rejected or it says nothing about the admission process and will change as soon as decisions come out?
@moysiskoutigel portal trick doesn’t exist/doesn’t matter
K thanks lots
GW Admissions’ twitter said that financial aid information will be released at the same time as admission decisions
@kaitlynjoy never mind, its working now.
only an hr left…
an hour? where did you get that?
@warrengharding In past years, at least last year, GW emailed applicants at 5pm ET and then released decisions at 6.
exactly. I am suspecting they will not release decisions today though…
hey everyone! i’ve been following this thread for a while, but never actually posted…not sure when decisions are being posed but I just wanted to say good luck to everyone
@Sassygogo I doubt they want to be close to Ivy Day and they worked late last night so today is plausible
@screennameinuse. My son was admitted ED2 and the merit (Presidential Award) was included in the portal acceptance and then again in the large envelope he received.
Good luck all. I have worked in higher education awhile, and I can confidently say that hard working students at most any decent, four year college do well. So don’t stress too much about admission to one particular school.
Thanks @wenronian ! Fingers crossed…
So, I quick question. Does anyone know how good GWU’s financial aid is? While I’ve heard both good and bad, as a low-income student, FA is a fairly big factor in my college decision, but aside from that, GWU would be my top choice…
@Cosmopolitian13 you might find this helpful: http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg03_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=1537
I’ve noticed a trend of admission offices using the Minions. Not sure if that is flattering to the applicants. [-(
I hope decisions come out tonight! We’ll know soon.
@moysiskoutigel Thanks! It really was helpful!
Okay 5 pm just hit. the countdown begins
