My DD was offered a spring '23 admission to GW’s Elliott School.
While not ideal, admission has been unpredictable this year. We are told that usual spring class size is ~100 but this year could be double that, and students will have a separate orientation.
We are seriously considering this option and exploring Internship, volunteer, little travel, as she waits out the delayed start to Jan. 5th, 2023 instead of Aug. 29, 2022.
She has choices, but clearly GW is the top given the program and location.
Any thoughts about advantages, disadvantages to delayed start?
Anyone done that before? and was there an impact (social or otherwise) for the remainder of the college years?.
Anyone seriously considering that option who would like to chime in with your thoughts?
