<p>NO! I don’t know why I thought I would end with 66 credits but apparently I will be finishing with 55 credits after the spring, so i don’t know if I would be considered a 2nd semester sophomore or even just a sophomore. It all depends on GW and how they want to place me</p>
<p>I applied as a cc student with a 3.85 and 45 transferable credits . My major is going to be Psych. Online it just states under review and via email they said everyone will know by June 1. It is very inconsiderate of these schools, but we don’t have choices lol</p>
<p>okay you guys, in exactly one week, it’ll officially be mid-May! lets all have our fingers crossed that they actually do release them mid-May and not later! whoo!</p>
<p>I actually I know I won’t get in… my GPA wasn’t too strong and my essay was nice but not originial? Ughhh idkk i think the longer we wait the more i 2nd guess myself… I am hoping being from California would give me an edge hahah how pathetic :|</p>
<p>@ellomeno, if all goes well, we’ll both get in! what is your college gpa and what did you write about, if you dont mind me asking? yeaa, i know what you mean. a bunch of my friends who applied as transfer students to georgetown and uva already got their decisions, so they know what they’re doing next semester, but i still have no clue. did you apply to any backup schools?</p>
<p>So GW’s website says admission notifications begin on May 1st.</p>
<p>Then phone calls to GW admission officers last month say Mid-May</p>
<p>Now, that facebook update from a couple days ago indicates late-May.</p>

<p>Okay so yesterday an Assistant Director of Admissions emailed me saying that the 2nd page of my college official report’s form was not there?! I completely went into panic mode since I had gotten those forms done in February, 2 months before the deadline! Even in the GW Activity Center, it said everything had been received so I never worried about any of that. Then today I went in and my college admitted in probably making a mistake and said they would send out another. </p>
<p>Sorry guys, just wanted to splurge about the brief panic attack I had but I advise everyone to email the Office and check to make sure if all the forms are actually in because I believe no one here wants to be not considered for admission just because of a careless mistake like that.</p>
<p>Oh, so apparently right now they’re sending the applications to the various committees as he mentioned in the email that they began reviewing applications just recently. Great.</p>
<p>I wonder if decisions will be released in waves or all at once.</p>

<p>Right now the page is coming up as “under maintenance” for me. I’m trying to decide if it’s because they’re working on uploading statuses (!!!) or because too many people are looking at the page or if it’s just a fluke.</p>
<p>Edit: Well, never mind. The page is back up, and still says under review. So much for that :p</p>
<p>I wish I had more information. My Dad received an email from Financial Aid this afternoon congratulating me on my acceptance to GW and notifying me on my financial aid package. But I have yet to receive an actual packet and my account still says “under review.” I haven’t been in contact with GW because I found out after they had closed for the night. I applied to the School of Media and Public Affairs as a junior transfer and as a Political Communications major and I am still waiting to find out how many credits will transfer…and of course I too am still waiting for the physical envelope in the mail.</p>
