This thread is for 2015 transfers. Has anybody received an email about missing documents? Good luck to people that applied.
I haven’t received anything, yet. I contacted their admissions office a few weeks ago and they said they’ll let us know. Hopefully all of my stuff is in.
Okay @AJCoastie
Did anyone receive an interview request for Georgetown Fall transfer???
I was asked to conduct an interview.
Yeah…I got one around the first week of March @transferyu
Yep, I did my interview about 3 weeks ago.
I applied to transfer (probably as a junior) from a CC near a major city on the East Coast. I still haven’t been contacted about an interview. Does that mean it’s a definite rejection?
Same, I did my interview three weeks ago.
Transferring from WUSTL/
GPA 3.96 (Freshman, with courses mostly “3” or “4” level)
HS GPA 3.97
SAT 2200
Good ECs
No one has contacted me for an interview… I asked about it and they are always telling me they do not guarantee interview for transfer students…
I have no idea about that.
Does it mean potential rejection?
I applied for economics in Georgetown College
I felt the same way. I haven’t been contacted for an interview even though I live in the Washington, DC area. I’m not sure what’s going on with the admissions team
@Yoadee and @Transfersquared : I am a DC local and I was contacted about my interview and was able to arrange it a few weeks ago.
Where are you applying from and what school within Georgetown?
@Yoadee I’m currently A/D military, but I attended Georgia Military College for my freshman year a few years ago. I am applying to MSB.
I have not received anything about an interview. Although, I’m currently at school in Texas. And decisions will almost definitely come out June 1?
I hate to ask, but do you all mind gauging my chances?

Transfer interviews are not required. Don’t sweat it.
When do we think letters will come out? Also is it by email or snail mail?
@princesstransfer The website said late May/early June. I believe it’s by email, too.
@rendevous To answer your question, I received an email the other day about missing SAT scores. I believe they are going through the files, now.
