hey guys I got my letter yesterday evening (Saturday) and I was rejected. the sheet was white and the postage was 47 cents. really bummed since I spent so much time on my Georgetown application and essays and all my teachers who are college essay helpers said the essays were great and my test scores were good also. but I guess everything happens the way its supposed to so it’ll be fine. good luck to everyone!
The fact that Georgetown requires all test scores is still making me nervous. One of my ACT scores & two of my SAT II’s are very strong. My other ACT score, SAT & two other SAT II’s are pretty average. (I also hope that they get our class rank, since we couldn’t self-report it like on the Common App.) Ahhhh.
@canigetahoyaa , I am sorry. thank you for sharing the postage info. I have been thinking it will be 50 cents for a rejection.
Georgetown’s loss @canigetahoyaa
Can you tell us where you live? No letter at our house yesterday.
@canigetahoyaa I have no doubt that you will lead a successful and fulfilling life regardless of where you go to school. Keep your chin up and be proud of all you’ve accomplished thus far and look forward to all you’re bound to accomplish in the days, weeks, months and years ahead!
I signed up for informed delivery, and it says I don’t have anything coming… Anyone else with the same?
@“WVOR357$” nothing will show up until the morning, for me it’s usually about 7:30am but I think it depends on your local post office, and in the morning if nothing shows up then it means that you’re either not receiving anything “letter-sized” that day or it’s not working, mine took about two days after I signed up to start showing letters
Ah, Thank you! @jroseduhon
Anyone know when letters will arrive in CT?
Gonna go ahead and report you for your name now
@silveriimike Already did
Aaaand they are gone lol
@writergirl0316 Thank goodness. You should’ve seen the other posts made by that person. They were horrendous
So how can I see the postage stamp price on informed delivery???
@MrElonMusk @silveriimike oh no what were they saying?
This is supposed to be a friendly community created to help people relax and calm down about the college process. Anyone trying to act out is immature and I hope are younger than a potential college student
@collegecrazy2017 sad thing is, I bet they were older than a potential college student. They were basically saying that everyone in this thread is probably a political science major, and that it’s a worthless degree. And their username was super inappropriate.
Did anyone in LA get a letter yet?
@cxprus LA or Louisiana? I’m not either, but I highly doubt either has gotten their letters. The only letters I’ve seen are from those that live really close to campus. I live in the South and I’m thinking maybe as late as Wednesday:/
