***Georgetown 2022 Applicants Discussion***

@CalBearsMom Informed delivery only populates in the morning. You will get a report between 7 and 9 via email. It will include the scanned first class mail for the day.

@masquerade98 Thank you!

We’re in NorCal and I see that someone else in NorCal saw on Informed Delivery that their GT letter is arriving today. So hopefully we’ll be getting something soon too.

Hi does anybody know when international students will recieve an email?

I called the admissions office yesterday and they said they’ll be releasing tomorrow afternoon :slight_smile:

@VAMom23 Thank you for your kind words. My rejection from Georgetown has made me more motivated to go to law school (eventually because it’s expensive) and even more motivated to get back at them! However, I am still keeping an open mind about the other great law schools out there.

@VAMom23 Oh, I see. It said “0” because we did not receive anything today? But if we were going to receive something tomorrow (that was sent last Friday), then it would still say “0” today, but tomorrow it would say “1”?

@tennisboy2022 International decisions should be emailed. If they did not go out today, I would expect tomorrow. Be sure to check your spam folder.

@TS9034

What do you mean? From this comment, I am assuming you got some bad news from Georgetown. If that is true, then please don’t scapegoat affirmative action or anything like that.

You not getting in is because of you and no one else.

@CalbearsMom, for First Class mail, the items are scanned as they are coming for delivery, not when the are put in the mailstream. So when you get an email notice tomorrow a.m. it will show you scanned images of the first class mail you should be receiving for delivery tomorrow. Sometimes all the incoming mail isn’t visible in the email, but can be found on the dashboard (if you got a large quantity of mail). Note that sometimes, mail will show in the ID email, but take an extra day to get to you. But most of time, it’s very accurate for same day delivery of first class mail.

Accepted! Did anyone get financial aid information already? I think our application is complete, but I’m not sure how we would even check.

First rejection!! Got merit at USC and a full ride at Fordham so I was a bit bummed out at this one. Might have something to do with the fact that the extracurricular/awards sections literally have no room for explanations? I’m thinking my EC’s didn’t look as competitive as they truly were because of the vague activity section. Also I had horrible subject test scores smh

My daughter did not make it. 29 ACT, 3.8 unweighted GPA (4.3 weighted) at the #9 rated high school in Minnesota, 11 AP classes, five college-level courses beyond that (including two directly administered by the University of Minnesota), Girl Scout gold award as a sophomore, 2-year officer for the school’s National Honor Society, 7-year peer mentor, all-state jazz musician (vibraphone and congas), 2-time all-conference percussionist, 2-time section captain for one of the top marching band programs in Minnesota, and 2-time section captain for a winter drumline that has won the Minnesota state championship the last two years and also finished in the top ten in the country the last two years; under her leadership, her drumline is on track for another state championship and top-10 national finish in the next month. Off to Saint Louis University, where she’ll get an excellent Jesuit education. We’re thinking the ACT score was the death knell, even though she posted a perfect score (12) on the writing portion. She couldn’t realistically have done any more than she did. Too bad it wasn’t enough.

@mrdilettante I would agree that it was probably the ACT score. Your dau. has an amazing resume, and clearly is a talented musician. I am always amazed by the accomplishments I see on these pages. Best of luck.

@yungsnake99 you got full ride at Fordham too? Was it the presidential? I got it as well but am now super conflicted between several schools because I’d be saving so much money at Fordham… good luck wherever you go!

accepted in Milwaukee suburbs with $0.68 postage!

Accepted in Atlanta!! 1540 SAT 4.0 GPA

@collegecrazy2017 Yeah it was!! I’m so conflicted too dude. I’m trying to appeal to some other colleges for more aid bc I lowkey don’t really love Fordham that much and I don’t want to go there just because I got a full ride yano

rejected and I got the letter in CA. Not super bummed though because it wasn’t my first choice :slight_smile:

I haven’t gotten letter yet in CA! First choice!! I’m praying I get it soon

Anyone in Oregon have their letters yet?
