Georgetown Class of 2018 (HS Class of 2014)

I can’t focus in school this is awful :(

I can’t focus in school this is awful :(

This is going to be a really bad day. I can feel it.

I pray that our letters come today… If we have to wait until tomorrow the anxiety may very well kill me.

Hi! I am a little (read a lot) late to this forum.

The result date was yesterday, right? I’m feeling queasy.

I’m going to freak out. I mean I know I’m going to be deferred, but I just want the bad news already. Mail better come to MA TODAY!!!

if it hasn’t even reached MA yet, it looks like I will be waiting a while in CA. anxiety is building over here!!

Does anyone know if the mail came in MA today?

Currently on the hunt for my mailman…

i think the letters will DEFINITELY be in the mail today for MA residents. otherwise i am boycotting the entire postal service -_______-

i think CA residents will get theirs today as well, as first-class mail is typically flown across the country.

No letter in mass…going crazy

ACCEPTED!!!

(to Georgetown college)

I’m so happy I could cry right now if my tears wouldn’t freeze on my cheeks!!! OHMYGOSH this is so amazing!

Keep in mind that the postal service does still operate on Sundays–mail just isn’t delivered.

No letter in mass…going crazy

@neontissues where do you live?

@moodoo I live in northern central MA. Around the NH border

If @neontissues got his/her mail today from MA then MA residents will probably get it to… at least I hope. Couldn’t focus in school today. This could be good news for Cali.

I live in eastern/central Massachusetts and I received my letter today around 1pm. Deferred  So I don’t think the snow affected the mail that much

@archer42 Waiting for my deferral letter too… hopefully I get it soon my mail comes so late. At least you got deferred, that means you could still get in. Keep trying! Send in more test scores or teacher recs.

Good luck guys!! Don’t lose hope! I was a nervous wreck in school all day and when I saw the blue paper peeking through the envelop, my heart just about burst out of my chest.

GU has notoriously low EA acceptance rates compared to RD. Keep working hard, apply to a bunch of amazing schools, and stay positive! Don’t forget that this is only one part of your life. How you react to it is more important than what the actual decision is.

Good luck once more!! I’m excited to meet some potential Hoyas!

(BTW I think eastern MA def got their letters…if you live in western MA/Worcester area there might be mail delivery delays)
