I just replied, but I accidentally clicked on another button while doing so! Did you receive it?

yes, I got it. :) Tried to respond but your box is full

Not anymore;)

I was worried that I had written too much at first so I shortened them to 1 page double spaced :( Do you think that'll hurt me? I was thorough.

How long did it take you guys to get your interview info from the time you sent in your application?

Kalik-
As long as you were thorough on your essays, than that's what counts!

Hmm..I sent my personal data form in January, my application was mid/late feb. I think that I actually got my interview form the last Friday in Feb, but I have come to the realization that the school of nursing is a little ahead of everyone, a lot of their Regular Decision freshman have already been informed...

I got an initerview notice 2 weeks after I sent in Part 1... :)

Bah! No interview yet:(, and I sent in my application during the middle of February!

Maybe you should call them and ask them about it. Won't hurt to ask! You never know, maybe they don't have a close-by alumnus or they forgot about it :( Don't give up, yet!

Helen

i just had mine. i think it went well. very relaxed.

mine was the same way north..we talked about basketball for a little while haha..that was fun.. no deep questions at all really..not what i was expecting..

I actually inquired as to when I should start getting worried, and they said in three weeks; this was last week.

i haven't heard anything about my interview yet either

i emailed admissions who gave me the number to the chair of the alumni association in my region. They told me to call in 2 weeks if I didn't hear anything (this was exactly 2 weeks ago today). I called last Friday, and the guy never called me back (i think it was a home number, which i thought it was a little odd)

i'm getting a little nervous about it. i don't want to seem too much like a pest by calling him again too soon.

efs424,

Request another interviewer from the alumni association :)

nspeds,

there is a plenty of time but I'd go ahead and call them again (request the info on alumni association in your area - there must be Gtown grads living somewhere close). My interviewer actually lives part time in FL and part time in DC. :)

I got my interview information today. How'd you guys dress. My interviewer is an attorney, so I'm thinking a suit and tie would be appropriate.

I will probably call tomorrow.

Oh how I would be in heaven if my interviewer is an attorney.

That'd be good . . .
you could also just go with a collared shirt if you want to convey a more relaxed approach--an interview is (ideally) supposed to be a friendly chat, right?

If the interview is in the attorney's office, then suit and tie are appropriate.

why would you WANT an attorney? I'm not that worried but I'd rather have a elementary PE coach or something. Less intimidating

I think it is easier to convey one's feelings about a profession to someone who is in that profession, since they usually have a grasp of what is involved and since they have been through it themselves.

A PE Coach would hardly understand my desire to become a lawyer, much like a lawyer would hardly understand the desire to become a PE Coach.

I see, it makes sense for you to want a lawyer to be an interviewer. I have no intention of becomming a PE coach. although there is nothing wrong with that if that's what you're into.

How much weight does the interview have anyways?
