<p>I live in NY and my mail comes around 3 on weekdays, but usually a little earlier on Saturdays. I really hope I get the letter. Regardless of the result, I cannot wait any longer.</p>
<p>LOL I was considering it but then thought, Why should what I look like affect whether I get in? :-?</p>
<p>So I know it won’t come until Monday (hopefully not tuesday) for me (California). But What I am having a hard time deciding is I don’t get home from school until 6 and mail comes way earlier, should I ask my parents to open and text me the result to end the wait hours earlier or wait until I get home and do an “official open” myself?</p>
<p>I didn’t mind submitting a headshot just because I assume Georgetown wouldn’t accept or deny me solely based on my appearance. I’m sure that it is just so they can make connections, maybe associate essays and letters of recommendation with faces. </p>

<p>deferred unfortunately but it is all good because I think my new SAT scores I just sent in will help me out for
RD and also this will just motivate me to work harder for the rest of my applications</p>

<p>this is so frustrating! I can’t believe I have to wait another two days! Congrats to everyone who got in! To those deferred: there is still hope! I’m sure you will get in to another great school! </p>

<p>Mail just came in Michigan…deferred. Wasn’t expecting to be accepted because my stats aren’t that great. 1980 SAT, 32 ACT, 3.72 weighted GPA, IB Diploma Candidate, extracurriculars: Model UN Team (founding member, no e-board), pit orchestra, symphony orchestra, marching band, jazz band, various musical groups (section leader, heavy influence), good rec from math teacher, essays probably 9/10, no predicted scores yet, 30 predicted EE score, no SAT IIs yet.</p>
