Yeah, I probably will do that! Thanks!!! This sucks though haha

Hi! I submitted my app and had my interview two weeks back, which I have a question about. My interviewer seemed very interested in what my religious affiliation was, and at one point even asked me “so what would you classify yourself as?..are you a Christian? Are you Buddhist?” I feel I deflected these questions well (seeing as I don’t actively practice) but was wondering if this is even legal??

I have already applied to EA, will changing the application type to RD causes denial?

Submitted my app today! @Harrisburg there should be a form on the gtown site to make changes to your app. I would call Monday and see what they wany you to do? I don’t think they’d penalize you because it shows you still want to apply and you don’t want to get rejected to 2 universities over a mistake

@lunascreatures haha I am on the NSLI-Y page! Haha my name is Juliana if you’ve ever seen me on here. im from MA btw! Can’t wait for Dec. 15th :)

@seoulbound I’m Natalia, from Kansas but parents currently live in Virginia (lived there for a year before I came to Macedonia!). and yeah. 42 days. Can we get a countdown going or something?

It needs to be similar to a passport photo. Plain background.

Unfortunate. Mine is basically a blurred green background but I doubt that my photo is going to make any difference so I’m not too concerned.

I only had 2 EA and still got in

Can someone please answer @weepingmermaid and @gap1234 's questions about subject tests??

I don’t think having just 2 subject tests will be a disadvantage…they do only ask for 2, correct? I’m a bit concerned as well since I took 3 (USH, WH, Chem) and my Chem score was lower than satisfactory I’m sure they’ll obviously care about all the scores you submit but I don’t think they’ll disregard your high scores completely because of any low ones.

I literally cannot wait for December 15th to get here soon enough! I applied EA to the College. I want to most likely major in History and Government with a minor in something.

38 days. That’s a month and a week, woah. I applied for Science, Technology, and International Relations, by the way!

*Affairs, not Relations, oops

I applied EA to the College about a month ago! Does applying undeclared affect my application negatively? I can’t believe we have to wait until December 15th. I know some hooks include being from minorities or legacies, but does anyone know if they consider being Circassian as part of a minority? I just feel as a Jordanian I’m at a disadvantage considering the number of Jordanian’s they’ve admitted the past couple of years, and one of the most obvious ways I could distinguish myself from the other 20 or so Jordanian EA applicants is by asserting my ethnicity. And does anyone know what their policy is towards IB students? Anyways, good luck to everyone!

Guys I am so psyched for the EA decisions to come out. I really hope I got in. Are the decisions definitely coming out December 15th? I know it says mid December online.

The deadline is December 15. I know last year a few people that lived relatively close to DC got their letters like 2 days early. They usually mail them between December 9 and 11 so some people might get the before the deadline. But the majority of people hear December 14,15,16. If that helps you

Is that the same for international students?

@samshabs if you are an international applicant then your results will be delivered online on December 15th I believe. I think in your gtown portal?

Yeah, it looks like, based on previous years, international applicants do get their acceptances online (though I thought email?) towards the later end of the decision-release period.

Also, I hate going through these waves of “oh yeah I’ll get in” and then “no way I’ll be accepted” and knowing that BOTH THOUGHTS COULD BE TRUE.
and I have to finish all my other applications in the meantime…I was planning on submitting the common app before december 15th anyway, so my countdown to my first result is also how long I have to finish everything else. I’m so excited for this to process to be over
