I feel the exact same way. I can’t wait until this insanity is over and I just know. Whether the news is good or bad. So I don’t have to constantly worry.

Also I believe international student receive an email by December 15 as was stated above.

does anyone know if we are suppose to send our first quarter grades (4 quarter system)? I know we are suppose to send our mid year report but are we suppose to send first quarter also to the schools we applied early to?

No idea. I asked my counselor a few days ago and she just said that she was only asked to enter current year courses, and that she’ll send midyear grades in February (which is after we hear back, but it’s still important for those deferred to RD).

AGHHHH I cannot take this wait. I am such an impatient person. I feel like I need to know right now! I know that if I get in, it will take a lot of the stress off of my regular decision application deadline of January 1st.

Oh by the way, do you guys know if they mail or email the results? I know that they will email them to international students, but for domestic students do they email or mail the results?

We get our decisions by mail. Usually the letters are sent around December 9-11 so people hear by the 15th. And it depends where you live. Like people that live closer to DC usually hear closer to when they send out the letters.

@rtunnel97 same about less stress when I find out! It’s so hard to focus on keeping up with homework and stuff when I want to power through my essays and submit everything and know if I’m accepted to college anywhere…

I can’t focus on school! I just started going through the “I’m definitely getting in”/“No way am I going to be accepted” stage. On another note, I’ve never been to the US before so I have not yet had the change to visit Georgetown. Does anyone have any first impressions of the campus, vibe, classes, etc.? I’ve done my research, but there’s just so much that I can take in without hearing any anecdotes and personal first impressions.

@samshabs I had a fantastic time on my tour and info session! the campus is beautiful (like most college campuses are tbh) and the part of dc - georgetown - that is adjacent to campus is really beautiful as well. expensive af though. umm vibe - I was there during the summer so I didn’t really get to see that or any classes, but our guide was fantastic and showed passion for the school which was good (but again something that most colleges share). I’m afraid i can’t say anything else unless you ask a more specific question!

Georgetown is beautiful and it definitely seems like a lively campus. The buildings are breath taking and all the facilities of D.C. are just a short ride away. ONLY 30 DAYS UNTIL WE FIND OUT!

Hey guys this is kinda random but I just realized that I may be in trouble since I never submitted the optional resume. I kinda assumed that everything I did came up in the activities section. Does anyone know if this is a big problem?

P. S. I grew up in the DC area and the campus is absolutely beautiful. Never gets old. Good luck to everyone here!!!

@klouuu I don’t think it will matter. If everything in your resume shows up somewhere in your app, then you are fine it’s just an option for people if they would like to, incase they have more things to add.

@klouuu yeah I doubt it will be an issue, if the rest of your application is strong, a resume would be redundant. your application will probably speak for itself.

When I applied last year I brought my resume to my interview and she took it and put it in my file… she said I was the first person to bring one and that it was very helpful for her
