for my interview i just wore jeans, sneakers, polo shirt, and a hoody. it was at a starbucks and i think it was fine.

This might be a stupid question, but how did you guys know who the interviewer was if you met at Starbucks or any other public place??

^^^ They usually hold up signs with interviewee’s name, like drivers at airports.

haha. that’s pretty funny. ahh. I’m so nervous about the interview! haha. what did you guys talk about? what kind of questions did you guys ask the alumni?

:), Don’t be nervous, my interview was laid back and had his feet up on desk through interview. It’s more of a casual conversation than an actual interview, you’ll do fine. Good Luck!

haha. Thanks! What school did you apply for within Georgetown University?

College for Biochem, you?

Also for my previous post i meant to say interviewer*

Do you think I’m at a disadvantage applying to the College undecided?

I’m applying for the College of Nursing and Health.

I don’t think undecided will hurt because a lot of people do that.
But, McDonough all the way baby!

Hey all,

I’m also in this pool of EAers. I submitted my application probably around the 20th, completed my interview last Tuesday. All was very successful – showed up arguably over-dressed but that just seemed to add a positive. I would love to get in EA and then not have to worry about anything else but my top-reach schools :). Happy to provide stats if you all like. Cheers and I look forward to stressing with everyone on here about admissions results!

Anybody else here waiting on October ACT scores?

Jeff: What did you wear? And what are your stats?

Hey I also submitted my EA application a few weeks ago! I’m a little nervous since Georgetown’s my first choice (I haven’t loved any other school I’ve visited nearly as much!), but I’m sure everyone else is as well. My interview was a few weeks ago. I thought it went pretty well; we went over time, and I think that’s a good sign! If anyone wants any stats or anything let me know!

Can you let me know your stats? What school did you apply to, Emaytay??

^^^^ I wish my school had varsity badminton :(

This may just be me, but I don’t find this forum as the appropriate spot to be posting your stats. This is not a place where someone is supposed to discuss their accomplishments, especially when no one asks for them, but rather a place where we can discuss the admissions process as a whole. That is what private messages and “chance me” forums are for.

It’s not just you… I don’t think this thread is for stats.

I agree. By the way, I just read (and made another thread, so, sorry, this is kind of redundant) an article from Georgetown saying that they received a record number of EA apps this year, so they think this year may set record selectivity rates. :(

^You’re kidding.
Oh well. It was worth a shot and it was kinda fun…
