Georgetown extended waitlist?? Help!

Ok so I just got a letter in the email informing that I'll be hearing back from them again on June 30th. I'm currently committed to NYU Stern and only recently have I decided that I really want to go to MSB. I also wanna note that I didn't send in any updates or show much interest during the wait period mainly b/c i've only changed my mind in the past week after visiting and doing research (kinda late i know). However, this time around i'm going to send numerous updates and make use of some valuable connections that I have. So the question here is, do I have any chance at all of getting in and should I keep hoping? I can't find a list containing the numbers so i have no idea what my chances are. Also, due to certain issues I was never able to schedule an interview since applying in like January. Should I try to request one to at least reiterate my interest?

Also, in the extremely rare case that I do get in how would everything work out? I've already set up housing kinda for NYU and am going to pay $1000 deposit soon. Thanks.

I would suggest think once more… you are planning to take up MSB against Stern…!!.. I would suggest you to do your research once again…

I would agree with dakhors – if you were waitlisted at sfs, I would say there’s no contest. But msb vs stern, I’d say no contest stern. Stern just does business better. From all counts - connections, desirability to employers, courses, etc.

So many(including me) have chosen MSB over NYU Stern. Please remember that the comparison here is at the undergraduate level. At Grad school level Stern might have more value, but at the undergrad level Georgetown MSB definitely is the better bet.

if stern is, in fact slightly better than msb, i’m willing to give up this difference for a school that fits. I prefer a campus experience and as a new yorker, i’d wanna have a chance to live elsewhere for a few years as opposed to confining myself to nyc.

I am also on the extended waitlist and was to hear by June 30- Georgetown College, pre-med Biology major. Still haven’t heard… has anyone?
