Georgetown, GWU, American, UVA

So im a student at a community college and looking to transfer soon.....as a political science student, i have zeroed in on D.C. and three schools in particular; Georegetown, George Washington University, and American University and if i could get in I would consider the University of Virginia.
I finished high school with a 3.4/4 GPA and a 1810/2400 SAT. I was president for three consecutive years, had a part time job, member of two clubs, national honor society, tons of community service, and great recomendations by faculty and a local church.
At community college, I have my grades up to a 3.8 GPA and hold a leadership position in the political science club. Also, my aunt and uncle both went to Georgetown, although i doubt that helps much.

So any info on my chances of admission at these three schools....personally I feel Georgetown may be out of my league and GWU is soooo expensive, so I dont know what to do. I know my SAT score is the weakest point on my application but since I'll be transfering as a junior, will the scores not hold as much weight?

Funny i see this thread as I just got done visiting GWU, CUA, and AU. A couple things to note…George Washington is right in the city. As in you have to cross busy streets to get to class. Also i found it hard to see it as a campus. Its in the middle of things but fighting traffic while getting to class…not my thing. Catholic U might be a safety school if you def. want to be in Washington but its sort of a weird vibe and as a junior safety schools may not even be something you are considering, seeing that if you hate it, transferring wouldnt be a good option. I really liked American. Lots of good internships, safe dorms, and some nice name recognition…but also sort of the " I didnt get into Gtown so ill just go here" thing going on. Campus isnt astecially pleasing but its safe and in a nice part of town (right near embassies!). Georgetown would be amazing to get into, so best of luck with that!!
