Georgetown Interview

Hey guys so I'm a little confused...so for my interview, me and my parents were talking and we thought it best to show up in a coat and tie. But I have heard from other people at my school who have had their interview already that I shouldn't wear a coat and tie and just wear a collard shirt and nice khakis. Does it matter? Would it be better to show up in a tie? Please help! I don't want to show up to something over dressed...

The interview is very casual and laid back. For mine, I wore a nice pair of khakis and a sweater over a collared shirt. I would think that a suit/coat and tie would be a bit over dressed. Good Luck!

I would think a jacket with a collared shirt would be fine, but no one is going to dock you points if your wear a tie.

When did you get the email re the alum interview?
