i am also still waiting to hear from the college. don't be worried that you havent heard yet. i think they've only notified people who applied before or are on a "priority list." i'm not sure what that means, but i know a lot of us are still waiting.

Out of curiosity, to the applicants that have already been notified of their acceptance, will you be entering Georgetown as a sophomore or junior student?

I have not applied to GU in a past year so no priority for me. I will be a junior. hopefully. That is what I applied as. I havn't gotten anything on what credits will transfer.

It sucks that a lot of you have you have not heard, but don't fret. According to this forum, last year people heard they were accepted as late as June 1st.

I sent an email the other day to determine the status of my application and the email I got back was "we regret to inform you that most likely you will not be offered admission" I did send an email asking that they not pass final judgement until they get my spring transcript. I changed majors my sophmore year and have done really well for my sophmore year--- 3.9-- Dean's list both semesters. No response so far. I hope to transfer in as a junior

I sent an email asking the status of my application on May 10th or so. I picked a name and email address off the admission page of their website. It took a few days for them to respond. I wish the response had been more positive but I haven't given up hope!

i'm guessing then that there isn't any rhyme or reason to the process, because i got an email saying it is likely that i will be accepted and i haven't gotten a letter yet. (i posted my stats on page 32)

who knows. at least june 1 isnt far off! :)

jim-
someone posted previously on this thread that GU does have a wait list and that at least 50% of people who are accepted enroll, so i don't think that wait list stats are good. i'm not sure what page the post is on but it's in this thread
