just out of curiosity, have any junior transfer applicants been accepted yet?

I received my acceptance letter last night and I am still in disbelief! The letter did in fact state that there were over 2600 applicants for approximately 50 available spaces. I am a non-traditional student and applied as a junior to study computer science in Georgetown College. I hope everyone else hears soon! Good luck!

Congrats! It really gives me a bit hope. Other schools release their decisions in a clearly designed pattern, with waves of accpetances and rejections each on one single day. Now it seems Georgetown is not playing this game (at least to now).

haha same here. according to this thread, nobody who applied to msb has found out yet so i hope we’re all in the same boat. i just wonder why they haven’t really released any msb decisions yet, but i guess we’ll find out soon
I received an email from GU Admissions:
We are writing to notify you that the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has released an updated admissions decision to your Georgetown University Application Status page. You will be able to download and print a copy of your decision letter from your status page.
You should log in using the email address and password you created when completing your Georgetown Application Supplement. You will see a Status Update at the top of your Application Status page. Click the View Update link to display your decision letter.

Yah, not keeping my hopes high, I accepted a spot at NYU but at this point I just want a decision haha

i think gtown should be releasing all decisions by june 1st but i’m not sure if they’ve updated info on their decision release
