Georgetown v/s Duke v/s WashU

both duke and washu have given me full rides. have not received georgetowns aid package, but assume it should be satisfactory.

how are these schools in terms of atmosphere/academics/competitiveness/fun?

at the moment im considering pre-law or economics.

i'd appreciate any inputs.

bump........................

ur 2 cents please?

For pre-law, Georgetown is unbeatable. For economics, I would think Georgetown would aslo be the best because of the business school. I don't even know if Duke or WashU has a business school, and if they do, I haven't heard of it. :) Good luck with your choice!

WUSTL has the Olin School of Business. Which I believe is rated better than McDonough.

But ratings mean nothing. Go to Georgetown anyway. :)

Duke has the best business school of these three, Fuqua ranked #11 in the country, but doesn't have an undergraduate business major. Anyway, that is completely irrelevant. For law school Duke is one of the top feeding schools to Harvard etc... It is much better than both Georgetown and WashU in this respect as you can see in the WSJ feeder ratings and on the Harvard admission website, 59 Duke students got admitted into Harvard Law last year. Furthermore, Duke also has the best academics of these three schools.

Yes, but would you rather be in the legislative and judicial capital of our country, or Durham, North Carolina?

go where the money is

i've got full aid at duke and washu.
hoping gtown is as generous(have not received package yet)
