Should I bother applying to Georgetown? My three subject test scores are between 650 and 690. I took the SAT three times
1st time: 1390 (730 reading, 660 math)
2nd time: 1360 (680 reading, 680 math)
3rd time: 1460 (690 reading, 770 math)
Sadly I’ll have to send the second score because there is no score choice option.
My unweighted GPA is currently 3.94
I toured the school yesterday and really liked it but if I don’t have any chance I probably shouldn’t apply…
Please help!
u should georgetown’s average score is 1460 so u have a good chance of getting in and your GPA isnt bad also
it’s a gamble but i think u should try your best and hope for the best
okay. I think i’ll go for it. should I still send the subject test scores? because they’re strongly recommended
U could and then u could try to make an excuse or an explanation of those scores.
If your previous grades in these subject tests are good they might even go for it
theres no score choice option so I’ll have to send all my scores unfortunately. Also, would making an excuse make me sound whiney?
Georgetown superstores “Georgetown only considers the critical reading and math portions of the SAT, not the writing section. If an applicant takes the SAT more than once, the admissions committees will consider the highest critical reading score and the highest math score from multiple test sessions when reviewing the application.”
And u should (I think it is a must) submit ur subject tests, they r not great but not too bad either.
U will definitely NOT get in if u don’t apply. Good luck.
