I am applying to Georgetown and they “strongly suggest” taking 3 subject tests. I did that and the highest scores I got we: US history: 730
Literature: 710
Math 2: 680
I realize the math one is kind of low so I was thinking of just submitting the other 2. Would that hurt my chance of admissions more than just turning in the lowish score. My math section on the SAT was a 750 and I don’t want them to see my Math 2 Subject test score and end up thinking that I’m not very good at math.
Thanks for any input and advice!!!
Subject test are too important
You do not have an option: “Georgetown University does not participate in the Score Choice option available through the College Board. Georgetown requires that you submit scores from all test sittings of the SAT, ACT, and SAT II Subject Tests.” See “Test Requirements” at https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/preparation. You may have also missed the statement at the bottom of that page that says if you fail to submit three subject tests, you should explain in your application the extenuating circumstances you have for not submitting three, and I assume the circumstances Georgetown is looking for do not include your decision to exercise score choice and withhold one of the tests.
