Hello I'm a sophomore from California, over my time at college I've accumulated a 3.4 GPA (1 year at 4 year 1 year at CC im a business major, and I have a ton of volunteer work, work experience, I played baseball all 4 years in high school, and I continue to play baseball for adult leagues.

I know this will be a reach school but do you think I have a shot because I'm a business major rather than engineering.
Thanks!

Welcome MasterbetaChi,
Unfortunately, GT Transfer admission will only be based on your credit hours and your GPA. They really do not care at all about your volunteer work, work experience, or extra-curricular actives. Also the business program is smaller than most of their engineering programs, so there are less spots available.
I am from georgia and in-state students are suppose to have a better chance of being accepted. I got denied last spring from the business school. I am at a 4 year college with 49 credit hours and a 3.49 GPA. I was first wait listed meaning that my grades were good enough for admission and I had all the necessary course requirements. I was not accepted off the wait list. Remember I am an in-state student.
