9 APs, with 8 5s; with a total of 19 AP courses taken.
OOS, no hooks
Based on other admissions from more prestigious institutions, this decision was a bit surprising.
For those on waitlists, I expect this year will be more likely to be a 20% year than a 2% year b/c of the international situation.
Accepted Aerospace Engineering
OOS - Pennsylvania
1360 SAT
3.9 GPA UW
Congrats to everyone who was accepted and good luck to those that choose to go on the waitlist! :)>-
The majority of international undergraduates come from three countries, China, India and Korea. I don’t see the dynamics changing much for these countries.

ACT 36; SAT 1600

Schools with similar profiles are currently, if quietly, predicting/planning for drops in international (from all countries) of perhaps as much as 50%. That may not transpire but many schools are competing very hard for a small pool of out of state students to make up for potential drops in international numbers. (I work at such an institution.) if those drops do materialize, schools will pull from waitlists.

Hey @BockyRalboa123 . sorry to hear about your rejection. i think It’s a lot harder for international students to get accepted but it’s still possible. I am an international student and didn’t get rejected. I got into engineering after a deferral in Jan. My SAT score was 1900. I took math2 (780) and bio(720). Got 7.5 on the IELTS. But my ECs are very strong and I wrote a really meaningful common app essay.
Does anyone know if GTech is still giving out scholarships?
@ALLCAPS24 They give out some Provost scholarships during RD, but it’s only for OOS applicants and usually URMs
