I have been accepted to all the above except Georgia Tech where i have been Deffered.
I really have no idea which one to attend!!!!!
I am an International student from Cyprus-Europe and i really need some advice on which university to attend. My major will be Electrical Engineering.
I need advice in certain aspects ,like University life, research opportunities, internships, job placements, reputation.

P.S i am aware of the different rankings online by (THE,QS and US news) besides that i have no idea.

I think it’s too late to add schools to the list this far into the admissions process.

My recommendation to Evzonas is to thoroughly scan the internet for information from other sources such as “College ****,” “**,” and “Student Review.” Do not rely entirely on university generated marketing materials that are borderline propaganda - seldomly giving accurate protrayals of what is real.

Consider perhaps the warmer climate of Texas. Do any of your choices have other students attending from Cyprus? Are any of these schools located near communities populated with people from your region?

E.E. is a tough, tough field. Anything you can do to reduce the anxieties of homesickness, weather, food when making your decision is a step in the right direction. All are fine schools, incidentally.

All the schools are fine undergraduate EE schools. Back in the day, I received my BSEE from UT, and my MSEE from Georgia Tech. Both are top notch. UIUC is highly regarded in EE. Purdue and Michigan are a notch below in EE. I have lived in Midwest for last 20 years and although winter doesn’t bother me, you need to consider the weather.
It gets cold in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan! Tech and UT will have climates similar to Cypress.

Do research online about your EC interests. Academics will be similar at all. All are big, state flagships. UT and Michigan will be more cosmopolitan and have strengths in other academic areas. Purdue and Tech are engineering oriented.
