What does this have to do with Umich?

My son was accepted to U-M, Illinois and Purdue so I can only speak to those 3. They all have great engineering programs, so you really can’t go wrong. One factor that really stood out for him was the city of Ann Arbor. It is such a perfect college town. There really is something for everyone, and there are many cultural opportunities. Illinois and Purdue are located in more isolated areas (although Illinois is only a 2 hour bus ride from Chicago. My son declared his major as computer engineering, which is the same department as electrical engineering. He is working very hard, is involved in the campus and very busy, but very happy and can’t imagine himself anywhere else.

This is just one person’s experience, though, and you really have to decide what aspects of the various schools appeal to you. Good luck.

Go to Michigan. Strongest all around school, just in case you decide to change majors. Ann Arbor is a great college town and very close to an international airport too.

Well, i guess i am going have to do plenty of research in order to find the ONE :)

Thank you guys, for your quick replies, greatly appreciated
