Gerogetown Tranfer- Chances

Hi, I'm a college freshmen looking to transfer to Georgetown as a Sophomore. I'm considered a Sophomore at the college I'm at right now because of AP credits but I not sure how many credits I will get if I get into Georgetown.

High School:Competitive High School in Atlanta Georgia
GPA: 4.0
SAT: 1300/1600 and 1980/2400
SAT II- Math II- 680 and US History- 740

College: Georgia State University
GPA: 4.0
Major: Poli Sci
Credits: At least 30 but again not sure about AP Scores

I am also a freshmen research assistant for a Poli Sci Professor at GSU
I also have various EC's from High School (Volunteering, MUN, Debate, NHS, etc.) as well as few in College (MUN, China Care, etc) but not a lot since I just started here.
I'm also in the Honors Program and a Presidential Scholar at the School

So what are my chances?
Staples995 is online now

Well, a great start at Georgia State, but you haven't been in school long enough to know for sure how Georgetown will look at admitting you based upon just one semester.

My guess is they will admit you, though, as long as the courses you took weren't just "fluff". Since you have essentially extended your perfect 4.0 grades since freshman year, and since the SATs are competitive for Georgetown freshmen admits, they are likely to give you a chance. Whatever you do, though, be sure to get a 4.0 in the next semester's grades, since it is possible that they will make your admission contingent upon getting at least a 3.75 (or something similar) during the Spring Semester.

Good luck.

Any other opinions? Plz
