Get into GA Tech without AP Calc?

I know that the statistics is about 95 or 97% of applicants getting admitted into GA Tech with AP Calculus or the equivalent. But I am taking Accelerated Calculus because I have a lot stuff going on in my life right now and I am freaking out over the decision of not taking AP Calculus. Is there any way that I could get into Tech? Also since I wanna major in industrial design, will I have a higher chance? Can anyone relate?

Don’t worry about not taking AP Calculus. There are many many freshmen that are taking Calculus right now whether it is because they failed the AP Calculus exam or because they just never took it in high school. Instead, they had other assets in their resume that made them appealing for GA Tech. Just make sure you have some leadership positions, done some volunteering and keep your grades up.
