Google knows.

I think it might depend on location/ staff on whether its a good job as thats how it is with most jobs. I might look into it if i can’t find any other job

Wait how do you get a work permit?

Can you at least listen to your ipod? I mean…it shouldn’t be that bad right? I hope? And I heard it’s only 2 days a week…

I have like 10 friends that work there and they all hate it but that may just be because it’s work lol. The hours are nice in it that you don’t have many and you usually work at the same times/on the same days every week, but most kids only work around 8 hours a week, so if you’re doing it for actual money, it’s not very helpful.

Well what else can I do…I just felt like Kumon would be an easy first job. My parents don’t give me money so I might as well make some money myself.

No you can’t listen to your iPod.

Get a work permit through your school.

My first job I did a grocery store. Very typical, but if you ask around you can usually figure out which grocery store has the best manager, like I did, and I ended up working 35 hour weeks for about a dollar over minimum and actually really enjoyed it until our boss quit and we got a new one.

I also nannied, but I hated that (awesome pay but I hate kids).

This summer I’m working at six flags (don’t know how it’ll be yet).

Other good places are starbucks, malls, and fast food restaurants/other non-alcohol serving restaurants (you usually have to be at least 18). Basically I’d just drive around places and ask of they’re hiring. There are a lot of places.

Eh, I’ll stick with Kumon and decide if I like it later…
Thanks everyone! :)

Got the job guys! Easier than I thought. I was pretty lucky since I made it just in time, before a high school senior left. woot woot

Kumon brings back some good memories.

Who has good memories at Kumon?

I always thought people said Kumon was full of bad memories, lol

Each Kumon is privately owned/operated, so each place is different. My experience wasn’t so great but it depends on how your Kumon is ran.

What kind of questions do they ask you during the interview? also do they drug test?

You have to take a placement test. Well for me at least, I didn’t have to be interviewed. And no…they don’t. But why would you ask that? XD
