getting an associates degree if you already have a bachelors

'm on an academic leave/probation (for low gpa).
in order to return to my university and finish my major/bachelors i have to take classes elsewhere.

the only place i can attend is my community college.
community college only offers basic courses and associates degrees.

i dont need any electives for my major/bachelors degree anymore.
instead of taking random classes, i can take a few nursing pre-requisites and then go back and finish my bachelors.

then come back (if i can) and finish my nursing associates degree.

What is your major at your current school?

Nursing programs are notoriously competitive, btw. The grades in your university classes could make it really difficult to get in, unless you happen to be at a waitlist school.
