I'm a freshmen at UT right now and I'm planning on applying for internal transfer into both the business school and BHP. I know my current GPA is high enough for mccombs but it's below the BHP average so I want to make sure my resume is strong enough outside of GPA.

I'm an International Relations major following the economics track and I'm in Liberal Arts Honors. I had calc I credit from high school and I took calc II (M408D), micro, and macro during the summer at community college.

The BHP gpa average is a 3.94 & if I get a 4.0 in the spring mine will be a 3.92...
For leadership, I'm on the social chair in LAH Student council, I'm a writer for the UT chapter of an online college women's magazine and I'm planning on getting involved with Young Democrats. The only "position" I have is being a chair for student council because it's really hard getting leadership positions as a freshmen. I also have a summer job at a gym and I tutor during the summers. Should I join more clubs? How can I make it seem like I'm involved without my involvement looking like a bunch of resume fillers? And what are my chances for BHP?
