Getting into Michigan

Does anyone know how hard it is to get into Michigan Med, in-state, but not attending Michigan undergrad?

... it is worth twenty-seven and a half hardness points.

...i thought it was a fair question.

it seems like the in-state acceptance rate would be relatively easy to look up or calculate, likely impossible to quantify the UMich undergrad factor though

It depends on you. GPA/MCAT/ECs/essays/interview?

muck fichigan

This was a reasonable question. Here are the statistics from the latest MSAR:
For MI residents, 1067 applied, 76 matriculated.
For out-of-state, 4517 applied, 93 matriculated.
Median MCAT for all accepted applicants is 37; median GPA 3.8.

It's very, very competitive to get in there.

and i always thought michigan state was a terrible school.

haha michigan isn't michigan state

i mustve read it wrong.

lol yeah. it's a pretty big difference.
