I am pretty sure that northwestern counts freshman year grades....so i was curious to know?

how much weight do they put on GPA? would 3.6 UW be good enough with about a 2150 SAT and a 33 on ACT?

I also have a boatload of unathlectic EC's if neones wondering

3.6 UW might be kind of low depending on where you rank in your class, i don't think anyone will be able to say how much they consider freshman year grades but most colleges say they take into account an "upward trend"

ok good cuz i got straight A's throughout Jr year and i took i 4 APs jr year....how many students get into HPME per year?

my overall gpa was 3.6 uw 2130/34 and i got in. i was waitlisted, though, and selectivity went up so luck to you

i'm not sure about specific numbers but it's obviously a really selective program

im guessin in state doesnt count for anything considering its private...

In state doesn't mean anything, and unfortunately I think they are more selective for HPME than your grades allow.

to accept someone to HPME they really have to be sure of their academic excellence, considering it's a commitment to allow a student into their medical school many years before that person will actually attend.

i mean, how do you show at 17 or 18 that you are ready to make a commitment to becoming a doctor? that is some extreme ambition/preparedness.
