I am about to obtain my AA at Valencia College in Orlando (last semester there). I have a 3.3 GPA and lived in florida my whole life. I want to know if anyone knows the requirements to get accepted as a transfer student.
Call the school admissions office. Google the Common Data Set to see what they will use to evaluate you for admission (section D).
The average admitted acceptance GPA for transfers is 3.4.(This is the only thing they have regarding GPA requirements) Also, there are different requirements for different colleges. For example, if you want to attend college of business you need to have certain math courses before applying. Other things regarding, a job, student government, college club could play a role in their decision. As a transfer you do not need to send in your SAT scores, and especially since you have the AA degree. So don’t worry about that! But I think you definitely have a chance!!
