What are my chances of getting in with my AA degree from a community college? I have 3.5 GPA at my CC, a pretty low SAT of 1660, I had a 3.7 weighted in high school, but I had a D in one of my classes senior year. Had a TON of extra circulars and was in National Honor Society.
Will that D and low SAT score from high school hold me down despite my high GPA in college and a degree?

If you transfer in with an AA degree, none of your high school records will even be considered. They’ll look at your GPA at your CC, and your GPA for the pre-professional classes that are required for your major. They’ll also want to see that your foreign language requirement is met (that can be from hs) and that you’ve completed most or all of the pre-professional classes.

You will need to make sure you have a good GPA and will have completed all prereqs for your major prior to attending UF.

The GPA and prerequisite requirements vary significantly by major, so you need to look it up online or call your college’s admissions department for more information
