It seems really quiet here, shouldn't it start already a couple days after April 10th?

I would think it would take a couple days for the dust to settle and any stragglers to come in, before admissions offices in the boarding school world to turn to their waitlists. Then, they will have to look at the pile again to find the best matches for any “holes” they have in their incoming student body. At least that’s what my d and I are hoping.

Of course, I’m just guessing at this. Does anyone else know more about how the process will really work? And will it depend on the school?

My child was accepted to Episcopal High School today off of their waitlist. No word from other schools yet, though.

Congrats! How much time are you given to decide?

They told us that they were not giving us a specific date.

My son got off waitlist today from Milton. He applied 9th grade with FP.

Congrats!!!

Bayparent, congrats! Is your son a boarder? My son is waiting for Milton, he applied for day.

Did you talk to the admission office after 3-10?

He is a boarder. Good luck for your son.
