Next year I will be attending Rutgers university. I am planning to pursue a degree in supply chain management but I was wondering how I can prep for a career in this field. Should I get a summer job in retail for experience; do an internship (although I'm kinda young); take courses so I can graduate easier; work on public speaking and interviewing skills; or should I just relax? I want to be ready for college and I don't want end up poorly.

This is the last summer you’ll have in a long time… until you’re retired
Have fun, or get a part time job to save up. You can get an internship your sophomore-senior year.

There is a lot to be said for putting some money in the bank the summer before college. That can free you up so you can work fewer hours on campus and keep your grades up. Also, even the most basic summer job can get you some experience in dealing with a work environment, which in turn will make you more comfortable when you get an actual internship in a year or two.
