Hopefully. It's that time of year again and as much as I'd love to be able to take easy classes next semester, I screwed up a little while ago and now have to retake Math 2 (pre-calc). But here's where I'm a bit conflicted- I'm a psych major and my no.1 is Berkeley and my no.2 is UCSB (which I've already been TAGd for) but they both have differing pre-reqs for psych majors. For Berkeley, I have to take a number of classes including a couple science classes and now the only two left I need to take are Anthro1 and Zoology5. But for UCSB, I just need a couple general psychology courses (which I've done) in addition to a Math 7 (calculus) class, which I can't take until I retake Math 2.

I plan on trying to take Math 2 during the winter session and then just take Anthro1 and Zoo5 in the spring, so should I attempt to take Math 7 during spring as well? Math isn't particularly my strong suite and I've heard that I can be given a chance to take an alternative course in lieu of the missing course from my CCC, but I don't want to risk anything. In general, I'm just concerned that not taking Math 7 is going to be the deciding factor in an admission officer's mind...so will missing one pre-req course throw me off?
