Would getting from Ives Hall to Helen Newman be easy to do in 20 minutes?
How about Helen Newman to Startler Hall in 15 minutes?
Are there buses or anything or do you for the most part just walk to all your classes?

Both you’ll definitely get to in less than 15 minutes. Buses run every 15 from helen newman ( :03, :18, :33 etc) and you would want to get off at Uris to get to either Ives or Statler.

You can check out bus schedules at [Home : TCAT Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit](http://www.tcatbus.com/). As a freshman, you get unlimited bus usage, and other students get unlimited rides after 6 pm during the week and anytime during the weekend.

I agree with lorel900 that the walks are doable in the time you have.

I walked to every class last year both semesters: the buses are often packed when it’s cold or the weather is bad, and it’s nice to take a walk to wake up, relax, or clear your mind when you’re stressed. The buses are good in a pinch, but you shouldn’t rely on them.
