Getting wisdom teeth removed

I have to get my wisdom teeth taken out, and my appointment is May 31. None of my teeth are impacted which is good, but one is a bit angled and one is only about halfway through and then one they told me that they would probably have to cut some of the bone to get out. Fun, right?

Who has their wisdom teeth? What about who has gotten them taken out? I'm a little worried, but not too worried. My sister just got her out and it sucked a lot for her, but all four of hers were impacted so the oral surgeon told me my experience would be a lot easier.

Any stories or advice for when I get them out?

My S’s girlfriend is facing this same issue now. How did everything turn out for you?

I haven’t gotten them removed yet. My appointment isn’t for another 2 weeks.

I hope everything goes well (and it should). Thanks for getting back to me.

Thanks. I’m hoping everything goes smoothly.

DD got her out last June. She had novacaine only and was done in under 15 minutes. She didn’t have any problems. Two had broken the skin and two not even close to the surface. None were impacted. Back to work in two days. People even doubted she had them removed. No swelling or bruising.
