Getting Your Acceptance Rescinded?

Has anyone heard of IU doing this?

I currently have a D in my AP English class, and I don't know if I will be able to get a C. All of my other grades are A's and B's, but I'm worried IU will rescind me.

And does IU want a final transcript at the end of the year? In their things to do after getting accepted, this isn't listed. Also what do you do if they rescind you when they get your final transcript...it would be after May 1st, so are you completely screwed with all of your other schools?

Thanks...

My friend who's a freshman at IU told me they never asked for anything last year. Yet, im pretty sure my high school automatically sends a final transcript to the school that you are going to attend to show proof of graduation. This is probably the case at your school, as it is at most. With your situation, i'm sure you're fine, especially if you're other grades are good. Hopefully you wont do the same thing next semester and even if you do, they arent going to totally rescind it. With that bad grade the WORST they would do is put you on some kind of academic probation, which doesnt do anything, you just have to have a 2.5 or something freshman year. But I highly doubt this will happen. No need to worry.

You're fine. I had a C+ in my AP English senior year. Not as bad as a D, but they won't rescind admission for that.
