Getto to Ivies, easier?

<p>I have pretty good stats(relatively),
SAT I 760V 800M 1560
SATII 800 Bio, 790IIC, 680 Writing (retaking Nov)
ACT 34
GPA 4.1-4.4 weighted depend on the method
Rank 2/800 in a bad inner city school( less than 50% grad rate)
Strong course load, absolutely all that the school offers.
AP scholar w distinction</p>

<p>EC:
Academic Decathlon, fared fairly well
Hospital volunteer 120 hr
Outside volunteer of various program 20 some hr
Swimming team, some medals
Science club founder/president
AMC&AMIE
Member of several other clubs
Few other mediocre awards</p>

<p>I know that there's no gurantee to Ivies (harvard, yale, and Stanford or Berkely), but given that I attend a getto school, do I have a fairly good chance?</p>

<p>One more thing, I goto the my school, but i recent moved to Sherman Oaks (a pretty good neighborhood), would colleges consider me a slacker who's just look for less competition?</p>

<p>if you are african american with those stats, you have an excellent chance of admission, especially considering youre not from the suburbs.</p>

<p>You have a decent shot at the Ivies. Just ED at the one you think fits you best. If you do not have a clear favorite, you still have a chance.</p>
