GF got accepted to UC Davis, got a D in Spring

My girlfriend has been accepted to UC Davis under Chemistry B.S, however she received a D and an A in 2 biology courses(From Organism to Ecosystems and Principles in Botany) that isn't even a major requirement according to assist.org. She didn't know at the time of enrollment that these classes weren't a requirement and regrets taking them. In addition, I don't believe she needs the classes either since she already has excess CC units.

So she and I are wondering what action UC Davis will take regarding this matter... Is there a chance that UC Davis will revoke her admission? She doesn't mind retaking it over the summer but is that absolutely necessary?

tell her to log into MyAdmissions, go to where it says “Report any changes” and fill out the form explaining her situation. Maybe have her explain any extenuating circumstances and the actions she is taking to make up for that D grade. They should respond within a few days.

Time to dump her and find a smarter GF :D

Or, time to dump her because she was cheating on you instead of studying for her Bio class ;)

jk!

Well if her GPA for Spring semester is still above a 2.0 and her overall GPA is still above a 3.0, I think she’s good. She should retake the course if she wants to do grad school, med school, etc…
