GIRLS: Do you like beards on boys?

I need to know urgently.

Beards look good on very few men. Just play it safe and shave it.

Not if they aren’t already good looking. And in my opinion it works better with dark hair than with light.
I’d date anyone kind and hygienic, though. I’m not attractive enough myself to make judgments on others.

Noo. Only some people can pull off a neat short goatee… So I agree. Shave it.

I have dark hair but I think I’ll shave it. I don’t think I grow a good enough one yet. I also don’t want to end up being associated with negative connotations surrounding certain men with beards.

I had to make that last sentence as long and PC as possible.

Adios CC.

Good luck with your female endeavors Muta. You have my sword.

If you’re talking about a full beard, 99% of teenagers - including those who can grow an impressive amount of facial hair for their age - have very patchy, ugly facial hair. There are a few exceptions, of course. (If you’re that exception, go for it - but most people this age lack the impressive beard-growing talent.)

Wait a few years and let it fill out before you try to grow out a full beard.

And you have my bow.

No full on beards, which like the person above said, is pretty impressive for a high schooler. But I think nice, stubble and five o’clock shadows are nice.

I’ve grown a beard twice and always have most people telling me to shave (along with a couple saying it looks good.) for the most part, girls don’t like it.

I have never liked beard ever since that time with the cheek rubbing thing the French people do. One time my family and I had a dinner with my dad’s French coworker. When we were greeting each other, he rubbed cheeks with each one of us and he had quite some beard. I didn’t like the scratchy feeling on my cheek.
There is this PE teacher at my school who has a beard like Santa’s (in fact, he always dresses up as Santa every Christmas). A student asked him if food sticks to his beard. He replied that not only food gets on his beard but also toothpaste when he brushes his teeth.

I hate beards, especially on high school guys. It’s okay if you’re, like, 30. But 16-18? No.

I like beards on men :)

…Muta, don’t even bother trying to figure out what girls think. It’s a lost cause, almost as much as the 49’ers winning the Super Bowl.

No, it only really works for a few guys and I personally don’t like facial hair in general, so maybe like a 5oclock shadow or whatever they are called

Thanks everybody. The beard is gone. It was a good choice.
