Girls: how long do you take to get ready before school?

Mostly wondering how long everyone takes to blow dry her hair...
but I'd be interested in other numbers too, like how long do you spend on makeup, hair styling, etc...

I spend 15 taking a shower then i take 30 seconds to brush my hair and 5-10 minutes doing my makeup. I don’t blow dry my hair or style it

I take showers at night, so my hair is dry in the morning. How long I take depends on if I do my hair or not- I spend probably 30 minutes on hair, 15 minutes on makeup, and 15 minutes picking out clothes/getting dressed if I didn’t find something the night before.

I air dry the night before because my hair is too thick, it would take a long time to blow dry in the morning. I spend about 40-50 minutes doing hair and makeup and getting dressed every morning. I’m pretty slow and I waste time checking facebook, cc, my email etc during the process so that’s probably why it takes me so long haha

golfcrew: You are SO lucky that your hair looks okay air dried…
ghuskies: yeah me too hahaha

^ya its naturally super straight so it dries really fast and looks the same as if I blow dry it. I don’t know how I could get ready if I had to blow dry my hair every day

takes me 15 mins to shower, usually 20 to get dressed, and 5-10 on makeup. i spend like 5 minutes on hair. i’ll braid it the night before and take out the braids in the morning for a curly look because i don’t like to use heat on my hair.

Well i take about 5 mins to shower, 5 mins for my teeth since i have braces and all, 3 mins for my face, 5 mins for my makeup if i choose to wear it, 10 secs for my hair (i have it in braids if not then about 5 mins), and about 10 mins to put my clothes on so about 30-35 mins total but sometimes i take up to 45 mins since im always changing my mind on my outfit

I take showers at night and just let my hair dry out overnight but it only dries if I get in bed before like one. Yeah so when I wake up I don’t really do anything to my hair I’m all about no heat irons haha so my hair is usually never straightened or curled for school. I really don’t take that long to get ready its just getting up. I tell myself I’m going to look nice but then it’s 7:30 and I thrown on my uniform with a sweatshirt and don’t even bother with make up. It’s weird a lot of people at my school don’t really “prepare” for school.

I feel like at the public schools in my area people try harder and do their make up and hair but at the private ones in my city girls don’t really care all that much even if it is coed. On Fridays it takes me longer because that’s when people try to look nicer and I actually have to pick out an outfit because it’s free dress.

you have uniforms?? I did in middle school i hated it…is it a catholic school or just private?

It’s just private. You can only look so good in an odd fitting green and black kilt haha, I think thats one reason people don’t try so hard during the week.

I shower at night and have wavy hair, so I just sleep on it.

In the morning, I wake up at 6:40 and leave at 6:50 for my 7:00 AM class haha. Luckily I have a uniform, but I have to get my lunch together, brush my teeth, etc. Doesn’t leave much time for make up!

20min max.
I’m exhausted all the time, so I sleep until the last possible minute.

I shower at night. My hair is naturally straight, so I usually let it dry out on its own. I, too, dislike using heat on my hair, but if I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll put my hair up in 2-3 buns at night and take them out in the morning for waves. Make-up takes about 2min because I’m pretty okay with how my face looks without it :3

10 to shower, 5 to fix/put on clothes, 5 to fix hair (I style for ~30 it at night), 5 for makeup, 5 for morning sluggishness

~30 mins

I wake up at 5:35 AM and leave around 7:00 AM. I spend about 15-20 minutes getting dressed, 20 minutes combing my hair (it’s long), 10 mintes to style hair (actually braid it), 5 minutes to eat cereal, about 10-15 minutes doing makeup depending on how I want to do it that day, and a few minutes to get my stuff together and put on my shoes.

about 10 minutes

I shower at night so that it saves time in the morning. It takes me a minute to do my hair, 3 minutes to brush my teeth, and around 5 minutes to wash, tone, moisturize, and put on sunblock. Since I prepare my outfit the night before, it takes me less than a minute to get dressed. After that, I spritz a little bit of perfume, then I’m done :)

I shower at night.

A few minutes for teeth brushing, 1 minute for fixing my hair, 5 minutes for choosing an outfit, 1 minute for putting it on.

Make-up? LOL

im not a girl,

i get up at 6:30, shower for 20 mins, 10 mins put on clothes, deodorant, brush hair. eat breakfast for 15 mins then brush teeth/floss, then prepare for school/facebook/text/watch TV for another 25 mins, leave at 7:40

I spend about 10-15 minutes showering and sometimes even 20-30 depending on how cold it is and how good the water feels @_@ And then I don’t blowdry my hair because it gets frizzy. And I have straight hair so no straightening or anything. I don’t wash my hair at night because my hair gets oily really really quickly  I’ve tried it and by the end of the day my hair just gets disgustingly icky.

I spend 5 min brushing teeth

And then I spent about 10 minutes picking clothes and putting them on and adding accessories woohoo. I don’t put on make-up.

After I go downstairs and eat my breakfast.

Sometimes I have to wake at 4 to finish up homework.

Good enough routine and balance between “girl life”/school
:)

20ish to shower/brush my teeth, 5-10 to dress (i pick my clothes out the night before, usually) and maybe 5 minutes on makeup/moisturize. Cereal-5 minutes, making lunch-10 minutes + 5 for packing backpack and another 5 for getting stuff that I forget :P

so, around an hour. Not too bad, but it sure sucks when you get up 20 minutes before school starts….
