How are the girls here? Serious question.

like every other school. serious answer.

Like human beings in the world. There are ugly folk and there are comparatively more attractive folk. Berkeley is no USC, though girls that fit that "Carmen Electra" mold do exist but are not plentiful.

Let me just say that if you have a high school sweetheart back home and you come here, she need not be threatened.

I don't understand where people get these notions that the girls at UC Berkeley are ugly. There are some 23,000 undergraduates here...there are bound to be both attractive girls and not-so-attractive girls. My girlfriend from freshman year was extremely attractive. Some of my best girl friends are extremely attractive. So, I don't know where Edward04 is hanging out, but I don't think you should have any reason to believe every girl here is monstrous.

A couple of my friend at Cal are hottt. But hahah that's just SOME of the people I know. I agree with Def890. If you had to take a mean of the hotness level though, I dunno. Good looking people are EVERYWHERE.

..except Antartica.

^But Sarah Palin is a FOX.

Wait, that's Alaska.

Girls at Cal, in a generalization, seem less pre-occupied than say girls at USC, with hair & make-up. As you walk around campus people are less dressed up or dressed fashionably- more Cal Tshirts than A&F wear.

People are still good looking, they are just not so focused on it, it's not a SoCal 'perfect plastic' atmosphere

True, there's no "perfect plastic" atmosphere, and truer, girls are less preoccupied...but girls at Berkeley can solve second-order differential equations in their sleep. Don't tell me that's not hot.

Besides, law of large numbers dictates that you're bound to run into a handful of attractive women on your regular stroll down Sproul.

Don't concern yourself with this too much. Chances are, you're bound to meet more genuine people (not just women) at Cal who aren't so concerned with pretentiousness.

Honestly and blatantly, if you're looking for a relationship in college, que sera sera. Cal is as good a place as any. If you're looking for a hit-it-and-quit-it hook-up, there are plenty of wasted chicks if you know where to look. Just don't expect everyone you meet to fit a stereotype though.

Relax, and come to college for education. Everything else is secondary...My two cents.

PS. Palin? Seriously? :( Yuck.

stop evaluating girls based on their looks.

more than two cents.

Not this again......

the guys here arent exactly to drool for either

Lol at Waiting4College's comment.

Anyways, to the OP, if you do a search, you can find that this question has been answered. Also, if you were looking for that many good looking girls, you would go to UCSB. But you want to go to Cal for the education, obviously, so why think about this too much?

Why are you wondering where I hang out? You're the one with extremely attractive girlfriends. Where do you hang out? O_o

Palin may be dumber than a rock, but you can't deny that she's incredibly good-looking for her age. No? I mean, what's the difference between Sarah Palin and a stereotypical sorority girl at a podunk college, minus twenty-something years?

The girls here really suck. You should go to UCLA

hahahahahaha

It seems like every year some variant of this thread pops up.
Last time if I remember correctly it reached some 10 pages in length? XD

Basically everything people have said in this thread is true. It is true that there are attractive / good looking women here. It is also true that there aren't that many of them as a general percentage than at other schools. It's also true that this doesn't matter in the long run because you're going to find more sophisticated women who have character and who are worth being with here. So who gives a ****. If you're considering going to another school just b/c of something as superficial as this then you need to sort out your priorities.
