Give me a go

So my list is currently something like:

Stanford
Princeton
UC-Berkeley
UCLA
USC
UVA
Vanderbilt
Clemson

I live in SC and have a 3.95 unweighted GPA and a 4.78 weighted GPA through sophomore year (it hasn't update yet). This year I got all A's in 4 AP Classes, an honors class, and Spanish 3. I got a 34 on the ACT and a 2140 on the SAT, but I'm planning on retaking both this fall. I also got a 740 on both the Chem and Math II Subject tests, but I'm planning on taking both of those again as well. As for EC, I play 4 sports (Track, XC, Basketball, and Golf) (I might do swimming and soccer this year, it depends on time). I had over 100 Community Service hours this year and I am working with a program next year where we will teach kids from boarding schools leadership and ethics through sports. I'm also part of National Honor Society and an anti-drug club at my school. I am also doing overseas research this summer and will have a leadership role in my school next year. Whataya think?

I plan on doing either Chemical Engineering or Computer Engineering/ Science in college. Are there any other colleges you recommend I look at? If you can't tell, I want to go to California, but I wouldn't be against other schools. Right now my main back up is Clemson, where I am almost positive I could get a full ride, so safety schools aren't really a problem (I'm happy with Clemson). Let me know if I left anything out! Thanks :)

I would say Clemson and Vanderbilt are safety schools. There is really no need for you to retake the act but the sat could be improved. Stanford and Princeton are really crapshoots but you are in a good position to be accepted to them. For Berkeley, ucla, and usc I would say those are also ballparks but you never know with those either. Same for UVA. As for others schools you should try considering Carnegie Mellon or Georgia tech. Hope this helps!

Stanford and Princeton should be your reach schools (don’t expect to be accepted)
Berkeley, USC, UVA. UCLA, Vanderbilt- match schools, you are likely to be accepted but don’t assume so
Clemson would be your only safety school.

But with grades like that you are guaranteed to get into some of these California schools. So good luck!
