<p>What genre would you guys consider Jack Johnson and DMB as?</p>
<p>Murder by Death is a good I haven't seen on the list yet.</p>
<p>The Juliana Theory, Brandtson (go listen to them on myspace, nobody dances anymore is a great song:)). Oh, and Underoath is really good, too.</p>

<p>Jonathan--Itunes classifies Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson as "Rock" (I would say on the soft side).</p>
<p>I second the recommendation for Tokyo Police Club- they're awesome. </p>
<p>MySpace says they're with a major label so I guess these guys aren't really "indie," but I also recommend Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. Check them out, if for no other reason than that their band name is freaking awesome :-)</p>
