<p>My spirits are low on getting into Rutgers after speaking with a few members here on CC so I am trying to find another school to call home.</p>

<p>3.1 undergrad GPA isn't bad for transfers. I had a couple of friends transfer to my school after their freshman year and they said that admissions for a transfer student are substantially easier than for a freshman.</p>
<p>What about College of New Jersey?</p>
<p>yea i thought about TCNJ...Montclair is on my list as well and a few other local schools, the thing is I kinda wanna get out of the house anf live on campus was thinking</p>

<p>i think it would be harder to get into TCNJ depending on what you are going for. check out Rowan and Ramapo, two nice campus schools that arent TOO commuter orientated like Montclair</p>
